Whistleblowers protection program

a) Project aim:

The project aims to accomplish protection of whistleblowers, and to monitor the enforcement of Law 571/2004 in the institutions where the whistleblowers work. Whistleblowers are people who in good faith notify the authorities of violations of the law, deontological codes or other juridical norms in the public institutions where they work or worked.

b) Project outcomes (corresponding to the activities where TI-Ro is directly involved):

→ Draw up and disseminate a Whistleblowers Protection Guide.
→ Align codes of conduct and inner regulations of public institutions with the law

c) TI Romania’s role in the project:

TI Romania is direct recipient and coordinator of project activities
