The project aims to improve the Romanian judiciary practice
regarding the usury through the organising of a seminar-debate that brings
together specialists from all of the country and from within all areas involved
in the fight against this occurrence, as well as foreign experts with relevant
experience in their respective countries.
→ the editing and dissemination of a volume gathering the works
presented during the seminar, the summary of the debates, and the
shared positions expressed on the subject matter;
→ the construction of a workgroup to synchronise the practice and to
propose solutions for the improvement of the relevant legislation.
Transparency International Romania were partners with the Romanian
Association of the Banks, the Ministry of Education and Research
through the National Authority for Scientific Research, the
Bucharest Bar Association and the Romanian Bank for Development –
Groupe Societe Generale.
