United against corruption!
Aim:
The project envisaged to stimulate, promote and develop mechanisms and tools to prevent and fight against corruption and crime, to ensure security and public order in Romania, Bulgaria and Latvia.

TI-Romania has developed the project in partnership with the Olt County Police Inspectorate, Dâmbovița County Police Inspectorate, Regional Directorate of Vidin Police, Regional Directorate of the Pleven Police, Latvia’s State Police, and the Romanian General Anticorruption Directorate.
Objectives
- Identify and analyse the difficulties faced by institutions involved in reducing corruption.
- Establish mechanisms adapted to the current context for the Prevention of Corruption.
Results
- 50 police in Romania, Bulgaria, and Latvia trained
- 3 press conferences and 1 seminar organized
- 1 good practice guide developed and disseminated
Budget
The total budget was 274,017.98 euros, of which 6.650 euros for TI-Romania
