One of the elements of TI Romania activities in Romania is offering legal advice to witnesses and victims of corruption, meaning informing them about the legal instruments for following through with complaints.

TI Romania offers this service through its Advocacy and Legal Advice Centre (ALAC), which offers citizens information regarding the legals mechanisms which can be used to act against corruption.

CTI Romania offers this service free of charge and citizens may choose one of the following options to access this service: by making an appointment to come to the TI office (appointments possible by phone), by regular mail or by email.

This service does not include moving on public institutions on behalf of citizens or otherwise acting to solve citizens' complaints. The objective of this activity is to inform and educate the public in above-mentioned area.
