Transparency International Romania and the Institute for Public Policy will launch two monitoring reports elaborated through the project Integrity Pacts - Civil control mechanisms for safeguarding the EU funds - Phase 2, funded by the European Commission.
The event will take place Wednesday, 4th of March, at Impact Hub Universitate, Tudor Arghezi street, from 14:00 to 16:00.
During the event will be presented the two reports, having as main theme the way of carrying out the public procurements in the next projects:
Increasing the coverage and inclusion of the property registration system in rural areas in Romania, implemented by ANCPI, funded though the Regional Operational Programme (POR) 2014-2020.
E-cultura: The digital library of Romania, implemented by the Ministry of Culture, funded though the Competitiveness Operational Programme (POC) 2014-2020.
The Integrity Pacts are a corruption prevention tool, promoting an efficient management of public contracts. The project is initiated by Transparency International, proposed by The European Commission for increasing the efficiency and transparency in public procurements and is now implemented in 11 EU member states.
In our country, the pilot-project is implemented by Transparency International Romania and the Institute for Public Policy, testing the Integrity Pacts as monitoring tool in the projects:” Increasing the coverage and inclusion of the property registration system in rural areas in Romania”, implemented by ANCPI, funded though the Regional Operational Programme and the project regarding the Electronic Catalog for schools, implemented by the Ministry of National Education, funded though the Competitiveness Operational Programme.
