Over 80 Members of NGOs and Social Partners Trained and Certified within the Project Dialogue and Engagement for Sustainable Local Development.

Transparency International Romania has trained and certified over 80 members of NGOs and Unions from the Municipality of Aiud and the Central Region within the Project Dialogue and Engagement for Sustainable Local Development.

The series of courses began in January 2023, and the schedule was as follows:

Transparency in Decision Making and Interaction with Local Public Administration Course

  • Session 1: January 25-27, 2023

Policy Development, Monitoring, and Evaluation of Public Policies and Local Strategies Course

  • Session 1: May 29-31, 2023
  • Session 2: July 5-7, 2023

Among the participating NGOs and Unions, we list: The Spiru Haret Teachers' Union Mureș, SM SPEROMAX Alba, A.S.M.E.A. Association Ocna Mureș, the Maltese Aid Service in Romania – Alba, etc.

Transparency International Romania is implementing the project Sustainable Local Development through Dialogue and Commitment from August 2022 to September 2023, SIPOCA 947/MySMIS 151484.

The general objective of the project is to strengthen the capacity of at least 40 non-governmental organizations and social partners to engage in formulating and promoting local development through the development and implementation of mechanisms and procedures for interaction with local public authorities, as well as through specialized training and networking.

 

At the end of the Sustainable Local Development through Dialogue and Commitment project, the following results are expected:

A local consultation mechanism called the Local Development Consultative Group (CDL) developed within the project and implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Aiud.

At least 80 representatives of NGOs and social partners certified at the end of the training sessions.

Two procedures for NGO interaction with local public authorities developed.

A guide as an instrument for monitoring and independently evaluating policies and strategies at the local level.

Total project value: 424,197.11 lei, of which 415,713.18 lei is total non-refundable funds.

The Sustainable Local Development through Dialogue and Commitment project is co-funded by the European Social Fund through the Operational Programme for Administrative Capacity 2014-2020!
