Transparency International Romania organized the SUMMIT OF INTEGRITY 2014, which took place on 20.11.2014, at 9:00, at Intercontinental Hotel
On November 20, 2014, Transparency International Romania / Romanian Association for Transparency organized the Integrity Summit at Intercontinental Hotel Bucharest, an annual event to promote integrity as a key element of success in the development of public and private environments. This year's edition aimed at identifying the main innovative solutions in the development of an integrated social entrepreneurship.
The Romanian society of recent years has faced a crisis of authentic values and a important reserve to address integrity and compliance as solutions for the development of healthy entrepreneurship. In this context, the Integrity Summit at it’s second edition aimed at shaping and promoting a model of inclusive social entrepreneurship, which young entrepreneurs and beyond can multiply through their own exemplary force.
Transparency International Romania / The Romanian Association for Transparency together with its partners, Emanuel University of Oradea and Magurele Hight Tech Cluter, aims to create a space for the promotion of a culture of integrity, a social entrepreneurship model for changing the value-based professional approach.
The participants in the event were representatives of the business environment, academia, public institutions with a role in stimulating the development of entrepreneurship and civil society. Among them were the signatories of the 5 Integrity Pacts set up under the first edition of the Integrity Summit, as well as representatives of the diplomatic missions in Bucharest.
A novelty feature of this edition was the possibility of joining the Summit of mixed teams of business and young people (current and future professionals), this approach representing the social entrepreneurship model for changing the approach of professional life based on values promoted by Emanuel University in Oradea. The Integrity Summit aimed at identifying the main vulnerabilities in the public and private sector and finding the best solutions to support a transparent, socially responsible social entrepreneur.
