Presentation Conference of the Project SIPOCA377
Transparency International Romania, organized on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, the presentation conference of the project "Legal advice services for victims of abuses or irregularities in administration and justice", project code: SIPOCA377.
The event took place at the Palace of the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest and was attended by many specialists in the field of law, representatives from the public institutions, academia and non-governmental organizations.
The project is implemented by Transparency International Romania in partnership with: West University of Timisoara, "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu, University of Craiova, Babes Bolyai University, "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iasi, University of Bucharest.
The overall objective of the project is to increase access to justice for citizens, especially those from vulnerable groups who are victims of abuses or irregularities in the public administration and the judiciary system, by creating and operating a network of documentation and assistance centers.
Existence of centers for documentation and assistance permits, also, the development of law professionals’ capacity to represent their interests and/or their clients in disputes or conflicts they have with public administration authorities or with the institutions of the judiciary system.
