Transparency International Romania organized on Tuesday, March 19, two work visits in Bucharest attended by public servants from the Local Administrative Unit of Botoșani, the leading institution of the DISC project - Integrated Development of the Quality System. The meetings took place at the City Hall of Sector 2 and at the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration.

The Botoșani Local Administrative Unit delegation had constructive discussions with the representatives of the host institutions, having the opportunity to find out the lessons learned, the obstacles encountered, the results obtained and the ideas concluded following the implementation of quality management tools, such as CAF and ISO 9001.

Among the representatives of the institutions visited were University professor, PhD., Eng. Nicolae George Drăgulănescu, Executive Manager of J.M.JURAN - Romanian Quality Award Foundation; Andreea Grigore, Director of the Department Integrity, Good Governance and Public Policies; Valentina Rusen, Public Manager - Directorate for Strategies and Public Administration Reforms; Cristian Duțu - Executive Director of the Local Budget Revenue Department Sector 2 and Cristina Nuță - Head of the Internal Control Office and Quality Management of Sector 2 City Hall.

During the visit, the delegation was accompanied by the documentation and research expert from Transparency International Romania.

The general goal of the project is to develop a unitary and efficient Quality and Performance Management System, by standardizing work processes, developing an innovative document management IT system, recertifying SR EN ISO 9001 and preparing human resources within ATU Municipality of Botoșani, in the purpose of consolidating an efficient management and optimizing the beneficiary-oriented processes.

The project is co-financed by the European Social Fund, through the Operational Program Administrative Capacity 2014 - 2020.
