• The project aims to accomplish protection of whistleblowers, and to monitor the enforcement of Law 571/2004 in the institutions where the whistleblowers work. Whistleblowers are people who in good faith notify the authorities of violations of the law, deontological codes or other juridical norms in the public institutions where they work or worked.
  • Reduce corruption through: business practices aligned to international standards of quality management and internal control transparent public acquisition procedure, observing the TI principles for bribe prevention
  • Evaluate the perceptions of magistrates regarding the independence of the justice system, so as to lead to efficient measures to consolidate magistrates’ independence and level of responsibility, and to eliminate those negative aspects currently manifest within the Romanian justice system.
  • The project aims to raise awareness regarding the benefits of ethical behaviour in high schools, both on the part of teachers and administrative staff, as well as students and parents.
  • The transfer of TI-Ro's expertise to other national chapters. The completion of a manual regarding the implementation of a Legal Advice and Advocacy Centre (ALAC). Project duration: 8th of December 2004 -15th of January 2005.
  • The project aims to generate attitudes of rejection to small corruption among a target group of 15-24 years old youth. The project is implemented by Concept Foundation in partnership with TI Romania, ARIEL Children’s and Youth Theatre, Cable Communications Association, Oops Media, the Online Press Editors Association.
  • The project aims to enhance citizens’ participation in anticorruption as follows: facilitate public access to information related to their rights; offer juridical guidance regarding complaint procedures in case of fraudulent use of public funds or when citizens are victims of corruption or learn about cases of corruption; offer citizens the opportunity to take action against corruption by implementing information campaigns. These campaigns will include brochures and citizens’ guides and will provide practical advice and information related to concrete questions, such as "How to fight against corruption in fiscal administration.” open dialogue with public institutions for the setting up of mechanisms capable to deal with citizens’ complaints effectively
